We designed the mezzanine project for improving the storage area and residence conditions by the young architect Gökçe Çakır from Çanakkale, where we met with an open call. Gökçe graduated from the Architecture Department of 9 Eylül University last year. Erdal Gürsel, who is a local master, applied the design that we use iron as a material. With an area of approximately 16m2, we transformed the workshop space, which we designed as an organizational space, into a dark room. We are soon starting experiments with cyanotype / blue printing, a photographic printing technique that works with light-sensitive chemicals and sunlight.
