During the first week of May, sub hosted Gebze Technical University, Faculty of Architecture with the project ‘EIDOLON’, developed by research assistant Şebnem Çakaloğulları and Ali Tıknazoğlu, Ali Rıza Albayrak, Cemre Yörük, Eda Esen, İpek Ark, Samet Yılmaz, Serkan Gürkan with the support of Alperen Altuntaş.

On the same day, doors were open till 9pm with the exhibition opening, featuring Nergiz Yeşil’s ‘cruelty-free skins’ made from fermented kombucha mushrooms, suggesting an alternative resume of oneself through the information that can be obtained from the skin samples by scientific means with a semi-speculative fictional approach; DNA, toxicology, genetic origin, ethnicity, phenotype, gender, age, diseases, diet, vital environment and conditions, and Ardıl Yalınkılıç’s maps of his visual memory, emotions, reminiscences of the past, of ‘all the cities and all the things lived through’.
